The Minnesota Vikings are officially eliminated from the playoffs, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t play spoiler or will be an easy out for the remainder of the season.
J.J. McCarthy is coming off a solid game where Minnesota won 31-0, and McCarthy threw three touchdowns. Justin Jefferson hasn’t been involved much at all, but the Dallas Cowboys’ secondary hasn’t been able to slow anybody down. If there were ever a time for Jefferson to have a big night, it’s against the Cowboys.
Dak Prescott is currently on the outside looking in of the playoff picture. They are only one game behind the Eagles in the loss column, but losing to the Vikings tonight could make their postseason hopes a long shot. I think both offenses will thrive in what should be a relatively high-scoring affair.
The Vikings don’t have anything to play for, but they are too talented to lose big. Don’t be surprised if they win.
