We’re almost to kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, and the Minnesota Vikings have announced what is, basically, an inactive list for today’s game.
The team has announced that 13 players are “not likely to play” in today’s preseason opener against the Houston Texans. That list of players is as follows:
Again, a lot of those players are starters for the Vikings and/or dealing with injuries, so it’s not surprising that they won’t see the field today.
However, that means 78 members of the Vikings will potentially play this afternoon, so the action should still be pretty enjoyable. Honestly, given that we haven’t seen this team take the field in seven months, I think we should be pretty thrilled that we’ve finally made it this far.
