At our consensus power rankings here at Daily Norseman, the Minnesota Vikings check in at 17.5 among the 32 NFL squads.
One of our panelists has the Vikings ranked as high as 10th in the NFL, while another has them as low as 21st.
While I have you here, I have a thought-provoking — at least, in my opinion — question….
Where do you think the Vikings will land in the power rankings — let’s just say the consensus — if they beat the Philadelphia Eagles at home this weekend?
For the sense of comparison, here’s where the Eagles rank on all of the places we use for our power rankings consensus as compared to the Vikings:
That comes out to 67 ratings points for the Eagles, for a consensus power ranking of just over 6.0.
For the sake of this exercise, let’s assume a Kevin O’Connell-style win. Something along the lines of….24-20.
