A lucky social media influencer stumbled upon a pair of storage units belonging to former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson, lucking out on some really valuable items for less than $1,000.
The TikTocker, who runs the ‘Prieto Hunters’ accounts on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, is one of a few online personalities buying abandoned storage units, usually for a few hundred dollars. He claims to have gotten Ochocinco’s with a bid of $890.
Johnson has also confirmed that the spaces did belong to him, taking to X to state he doesn’t want that “old a** s**t.”
The units’ location wasn’t disclosed, but it could be in southern California, given that the buyer experienced sweltering heat and was greeted by several cockroaches. Chad Johnson also lives there right now.
As for the contents, the Prieto Hunters could make a killing, given all of the designer clothes and shoes they found, with a reversible mink vest with an estimated value of around $5,000 among them.
There were also lots of autographed memorabilia, including a jersey from Chad Johnson’s former teammate, Chris Henry, who passed away.
Former NFL cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones has already offered to buy the jersey. He was close friends with Henry, who was his teammate in college.
The impressive shoe collection included a pair of soccer cleats that appeared to have been signed by Brazilian icon Ronaldinho.
The strangest item, however, was a painting of naked women kissing, with one getting handsy with the other’s chest.
“Interesting painting,” the influencer said upon discovery.
There were also several jerseys and helmets, guitars, and even a rifle case with a magazine.
We have no idea how Johnson ended up losing the unit, but he has already made it clear that he doesn’t want anything inside.
