The Philadelphia Eagles scoffed in the face of adversity on Super Bowl Sunday.
They put an emphatic stop to the Chiefs’ bid to complete the first three-peat in NFL history, beating and battering Patrick Mahomes for six sacks and three turnovers en route to a dominating 40-22 win in Super Bowl LIX.
In shocking news, the city of Philadelphia has since devolved into a beautiful, chaotic celebratory scene that even got a few different species involved in the party.
In a video shared on X by Crossing Broad, six Eagles fans could be seen casually trotting down the streets of Philadelphia on horseback while shouting “Go Birds.”

No one knows how to celebrate a title quite like Philly, and the chaos was highly anticipated as the city’s mayor pleaded with fans to stay off of light posts if the team won, which became a hot-button topic after one fan climbed a post after the NFC Championship game and fell to their death.
Instead, this time around, Eagles fans took the safer route and simply tore the traffic lights down and carried them around the city.
Happy for the Eagles team…

Elsewhere during the celebration, fans commandeered two garbage trucks, took down various other traffic lights, and blocked the police from entering certain areas by using laundry bins pulled out of a laundry truck the fans had emptied.
However, the first casualty was a sign that things had gone too far, as Kermit the Frog was lit on fire in a symbolic gesture of what the Eagles’ defense did to Patrick Mahomes.

Hopefully, no other fans, horses, or Muppets were hurt during these celebrations.
