Anybody with two eyes who has seen a football game before knows that the incomplete pass from Cam Ward to Van Jefferson on Friday night was on Jefferson. That ball absolutely has to be caught. To Jefferson’s credit, he took the blame when asked after practice on Tuesday:

Yeah, whatever. I’m just ready for us to talk less about stupid stuff Simmons does in practice and more about plays he makes on the field when the games actually matter.
Calvin Ridley missed practice on Tuesday with what Brian Callahan called soreness. Probably no big deal, but it’s always scary for Titans fans when a receiver misses practice with any type of injury. We have seen that go from nothing to something really quickly too many times.
The Indianapolis Colts named Daniel Jones their starting quarterback yesterday. It’s a fun conundrum the Colts have with Anthony Richardson. He needs to play more football for them to see if he is good, but he is so bad that they can’t afford to let him play. This is all fun until the Colts end up with another number one pick that turns into a franchise quarterback.
