In a game in which the Commanders struggled to prevail, no player was more key to the victory than Jayden Daniels.

Running

Jayden Daniels had impressive stats for the game. He was, in fact, the game’s leading rusher (for both teams), carrying the ball 11 times for 66 yards. And his most impressive runs weren’t always the longest.

Of course the longest run was pretty too.

Passing

For the fourth time this season, Daniels played a full game and finished with a completion rate above 80%. He is, in fact, the 1st rookie & 5th player in NFL history with a completion percentage of 80-or-higher in 4 games in a season (min. 20 attempts each game).

Jayden completed 25-31 for 226 yards and a pair of touchdowns as he completed passes to ten different receivers. As usual, he had no turnovers in the game, finishing with a passer rating of 118.5.

After fifteen weeks, the Commanders are 3rd in rushing yards, 4th in total yards and 6th in total points scored. The team is solidly in second place in the NFC East, and is currently positioned for the 7th seed in the NFC playoffs. These impressive achievements, coming in a rebuilding year in which the entire franchise was stripped down and rebuilt in a matter of months, are largely attributable to the high level of play and professionalism of Washington’s rookie quarterback, who is having an incredible season.

Kyle Brandt: We need people to see Jayden Daniels; he is the best thing going right now – the coolest, most fun, most astonishing thing. The best show, right now! It’s not the Vikings; it’s not the Chiefs – it is the Commanders offense, and the Commanders as a whole, and I have never said that in my life.
