Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill was caught dissing Jacksonville Jaguars rookie and two-way phenomTravis Hunter during a live video stream.
The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner is one of the most highly touted prospects in recent NFL memory, thanks to his unique ability to play wide receiver and cornerback. The Jaguars surrendered a giant haul (including two first-round picks) to the Cleveland Browns so they could move up and take him at No. 2 overall.
But it appears that Tyreek Hill isn’t on the Travis Hunter hype train, judging by comments he made on a recent live video stream.
Hill was hanging out with popular video game streamer Adin Ross and other pals when one person asked the All-Pro wideout about his thoughts on Travis Hunter. Let’s just say the future Hall of Famer didn’t mince words.
“He gonna be a*s,” Hill wrote.
WOW: TYREEK HILL SAYS THAT TRAVIS HUNTER IS TRASH AND WILL BE AWFUL IN THE #NFL.
“HE GONNA BE ASS”

In a subsequent clip, Tyreek Hill backtracked on his original statement and said Hunter and Shedeur Sanders would be “a dawg” in the NFL. So make of that as you will.

Unfortunately, the Jaguars and Dolphins will not meet in the regular season, so Hunter doesn’t get a chance to prove himself to Hill in person. They do play in Week 3 of preseason action, but there’s a good chance that both Hill and Hunter will be rested for that game.
2024 was an all-around disappointing season for Hill and the Miami Dolphins. One year after posting his best season (119 catches for a league-leading 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns), Hill finished with a stat line of 81-959-6.
Tua Tagovailoa’s six-game absence played a role in that, but Hill still put up elite numbers without his star QB in 2022. Hill is 31 now, so another down season will only lead to speculation that he’s past his best-before date.
