Star Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill raised eyebrows this week after naming his top five quarterbacks in the league.

Upon being asked by a fan to name his top quarterbacks, Hill wasted no time saying Ravens’ Lamar Jackson, the Bills’ Josh Allen, the Buccaneers’ Baker Mayfield, the Bengals’ Joe Burrow, and his former Chiefs teammate, Patrick Mahomes.

It was not hard to ignore the fact that he did not mention of his own signal-caller, Tua Tagovailoa.

The omission of Tagovailoa is curious given that the quarterback made the cut on Hill’s previous list shared last summer.

“This is in no order by the way,” the eight-time Pro Bowl said about his list.

He had no problem backing up Tua the last two off-seasons.

Trolling or not, something has clearly changed.

The Miami Dolphins star wide receiver had a contentious relationship with the team that began during the final game of the regular season and has continued during the offseason.

He said he wanted off the Dolphins following the team’s 2024 regular-season finale. Hill has since walked back those remarks.

However, Tyreek Hill’s behavior on social media continues to suggest that he would still welcome a trade.

To be fair, Jackson is a two-time NFL MVP; Allen won the 2024 NFL MVP; Mahomes is a three-time Super Bowl MVP; Mayfield threw for a career-high last year; and Burrow, a two-time Pro Bowler, threw for an NFL-high 4,918 yards and 43 touchdowns last season.

Tua has missed quite a few games due to concussions, which reared its ugly head in 2024 as he missed four more games. His inability to stay on the field won’t have him on anyone’s top QB list.

Will Tyreek Hill Make it To The 2025 Season With The Dolphins?

Tyreek Hill, who first entered the NFL as a fifth-round draft pick, quickly overturned expectations to become a dynamic playmaker.

Hill, a five-time All-Pro and eight-time Pro Bowler, is coming off an underwhelming season by his standards. It was only made worse with his reaction to missing the postseason for the first time in his career.

He continues to point to possibly being traded, but it does not appear that it will happen.

Miami general manager Chris Grier indicated last month that the team is happy with Hill, revealing it would take at least two first-round picks to get him to trade the All-Pro wideout.
