Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill was caught ripping on head coach Mike McDaniel during a recent live video stream.

Tyreek Hill is coming off an underwhelming 2024 season with the Dolphins, one that made him the subject of offseason trade speculation. One year after leading the NFL in receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13), Hill finished with only 81 catches for 959 yards and six touchdowns.

Hill’s 56.4 receiving yards per game marked the lowest since his 2016 rookie year, when he was mainly used on special teams. After Miami’s 2024 regular season ended, Hill suggested he wanted to be traded after telling reporters, “I’m out, bro.”

A viral video has surfaced of Hill dissing his head coach on a live stream, saying he wanted to knock McDaniel out “because he wasn’t throwing me the ball.”

Well, that’s not going to provide much reassurance that Tyreek Hill is happy in Miami heading into his fourth season with the franchise. But the Dolphins haven’t at all indicated that they’d like to move on from Hill, so it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Over his first three seasons in Miami, Hill has compiled 319 catches for 4,468 yards and 26 touchdowns. The two best statistical seasons of his career (2022 and 2023) came in Miami as he helped the Dolphins to rare playoff appearances.

Miami Needs Prime Tyreek Hill To Make The Postseason

The Dolphins will need Hill to return to his All-Pro form if they’re to have any hope at returning to the postseason. Of course, Hill’s dip in production can be attributed to Tua Tagovailoa’s six-game absence, so there’s good reason to believe Miami’s offense will return to elite form in 2025.

Miami kicks off its 2025 regular season with a road game against Anthony Richardson and the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sept. 7.
