Here is a look at how the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2023 draft class fared in a 23-21 loss at the Houston Texans on Sunday and ahead to Week 17’s home game against the New York Giants.
Tyree Wilson:
Wilson played 21 snaps at Houston, a week after playing just six snaps at the Eagles. His snap count is still low, but, at least, he played more than just six snaps. He had one assisted tackle as his underwhelming Raiders’ career continues for the No. 7 overall pick in 2023.
Michael Mayer:
The second-round pick played 66 percent of the snaps, up from his average of 5 percent. He had just one catch for 10 yards on three targets. The Notre Dame product has 23 catches for 193 yards this season as he struggles to make a major impact.
Tre Tucker:
The third-round pick played 100 percent of the snaps and had four catches on five targets for 43 yards. It was his most productive game since Week 11 and came a week after he had no catches. Four catches for 43 yards isn’t anything to celebrate for a starting receiver, of course, but at least, it was something.
Aidan O’Connell:
The reserve quarterback has been on the 53-man roster for the past five games after recovering from a preseason wrist injury. He is the emergency quarterback behind Geno Smith and Kenny Pickett.
