Here is a look at how the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2023 draft class fared in a 31-14 road loss at the Los Angeles Chargers and ahead to Week 14’s home game against the Denver Broncos.
Tyree Wilson:
The No. 7 overall draft pick is seeing his paly time decrease. He played 31 percent of the snaps at the Chargers, his second lowest of the season. His snap percentage has been in the 30s four of the past five games. He had two tackles against the Chargers with no quarterback hits. He has just two sacks on the season and none in the past eight games. The injury may be in on what Wilson is — just a rotational player who wasn’t worthy of being a top pick.
Michael Mayer:
The second-round pick did not play because of an ankle injury he suffered in Week 12. He may not be ready to play against the Broncos, either. He has missed three games due to injury this season. He has 22 catches for 182 yards.
Tre Tucker:
After catching three passes on 10 targets in Week 12, the third-round pick was targeted just three times in Greg Olson’s first game as the interim offensive coordinator. He caught all of them for 20 yards. Tucker hasn’t been producing much for a starter even though he plays almost every snap. He has a total of 15 catches for 161 yards in the past five games. Four of those games have been since Jakobi Myers was traded. Tucker needs to produce more.
Aidan O’Connell:
The reserve quarterback has been on the 53-man roster for the past two games after recovering from a preseason wrist injury. He has been the emergency quarterback behind Geno Smith and Kenny Pickett.
