Buffalo Rumblings
The Buffalo Bills used a tight end to punt on Saturday but no running back kicked field goals. Sorry Ray Davis, but the Bills’ kicker took care of it. Tyler Bass nailed a 37-yard field goal to take a 17-10 lead into the locker room at halftime. A 39-yard kick in the second half solidified it. Bass is back.
Bass missed most of training camp with a groin injury, including the last two preseason games and the public practice, but was able to get close enough during the preseason for Buffalo to release the other kicker on the roster (Caden Davis). Field goals and a couple extra points so far don’t just lock in Bass, but should calm some nerves in WNY.
We are still in the third quarter so there will be more scoring , but we are firmly in the roster conversation now across the board.
