PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin listed cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (hamstring) and strong safety DeShon Elliott (knee) as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings in Ireland.

“There is a ‘chance. Will monitor their progress all week,” Tomlin said of Porter and Elliott’s status for Sunday.

Tomlin also noted that travel to Ireland and schedule will not alter the ability to injured players like Elliott and Porter to return this week.

Tomlin said cornerback Darius Slay (leg contusion) will be limited at early portion of week but should play.

Elliott suffered a knee injury during the Steelers’ Week 1 win over the New York Jets. He did not return to the game and was diagnosed with an MCL sprain. Elliott did not play in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks and in Week 3 against the New England Patriots.

Porter Jr. suffered a hamstring injury in Week 1 against the Jets. Tomlin said he was held out as a precaution, but Porter did not practice the following week and missed the team’s Week 2 and Week 3 game.

Slay (leg) was in and out off the first half on Sunday against New England but returned and finished the game. Broderick Jones (shoulder) also got banged up but finished the game.

“No significant injuries to mention,” Tomlin said after the win. “Slay missed some time in the game with a leg contusion. I think he was able to get back in and finish. Same with Broderick. But we’ll stack this one.”
