With the New England Patriots having taken care of their Week 11 business on Thursday, a couple of Pats stars took the opportunity to watch some Boston Celtics basketball in person on Sunday afternoon at TD Garden. Christian Gonzalez and TreVeyon Henderson were both in attendance for Celts-Clippers, a game which Boston ultimately won.
Both Patriots stars received love from the Boston crowd when they were shown on the jumbotron at the Garden.
Henderson is coming off a three-touchdown performance against the Jets. Gonzalez was also rock-solid against New York, as he’s been all season since returning from injury in Week 4.
It’s good to see Gonzalez and Henderson getting some R&R now, because the NFL season is about to kick into high gear. With six games remaining on their schedule, the Patriots will be looking to consolidate their lead atop the AFC East and potentially earn a bye in the playoffs.
Next up for New England: a Week 12 battle in Cincinnati against the 3-7 Bengals.
