The Bengals have finally won their first preseason game since 2022, which also happens to be the last year that they made the playoffs.

After two years of slow starts hurting the Bengals’ playoff chances to the point they were unable to claw their way back, the Bengals let Burrow get plenty of reps, and he delivered with a very solid performance across two preseason games. The hope being that with more preseason reps, Burrow will be able to come out of the gate swinging and get the Bengals some early wins.

In the end, the real star of the night was, as is so often the case in the preseason, a relatively under-the-radar player in Mitchell Tinsley, a wide receiver who was on the roster bubble entering the game and likely still is. However, Tinsley showed tons of potential with two touchdown catches, including an incredible toe tap effort in the back of the end zone. Even if he makes the roster, Tinsley has a long road ahead to attempt to contribute, but he showed some real promise in the matchup against the Commanders.

With that, let’s take a look at some of what Twitter had to say about the Bengals and Tinsley’s outstanding performance.
