The Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 6 contest against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday will be available for a good portion of the country as part of the regional 1 p.m. broadcast on CBS.
All of Pennsylvania and the entire East Coast minus the New England area will get the game on Sunday. Most of the South and Midwest will also get the game.
According to coverage maps posted by 506 Sports on Wednesday, outside of the Pittsburgh and Cleveland markets, stations in New York City, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Nashville, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay and Minneapolis will also get the game.
CBS revealed that Ian Eagle (play-by-play), J.J. Watt (color) and Evan Washburn (sideline) will have the call for the Steelers-Browns game in Week 6.
This will be the third time this year that the crew will call a Steelers game. The first time came in Week 1 against the New York Jets and the second was in Week 3 against the New England Patriots. The Steelers won both games.
The Steelers (3-1) are 4.5-point favorites to beat the Browns, according to odds posted on Sunday by FanDuel Sportsbook. The Steelers have a -245 money line, and the over/under total for the game is 38.5.
The Browns (1-4) are coming off a 21-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in London on Sunday morning. The AFC North foes played the same opponent, both in Europe, in back-to-back weeks, as the Steelers beat the Vikings, 24-21 in Dublin, Ireland on Sept. 28.
The Steelers are coming off their bye week, where they are 14-4 under Mike Tomlin, including an impressive road victory over the Washington Commanders last season.
In the late afternoon time slot on Sunday, the Pittsburgh market will get the Tennessee Titans vs. Las Vegas Raiders game on FOX. The late afternoon CBS game is the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Green Bay Packers. There is no 1 p.m. game in the Pittsburgh market on FOX.
There are five national broadcasts in Week 6. The Philadelphia Eagles take on the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football (Amazon).
On Sunday morning, the Denver Broncos face the New York Jets in London (NFL Netowrk; Rich Eisen, Kurt Warner).
Sunday Night Football on NBC and WPXI-TV will feature the Detroit Lions against the Kansas City Chiefs.
There’s a Monday Night Football doubleheader. The first game will be the Buffalo Bills vs. Atlanta Falcons (ESPN; Chris Fowler, Dan Orlovsky, Louis Riddick). Kickoff is at 7: 15 p.m. The second game is the Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders (ABC; Joe Buck, Troy Aikman). Kickoff is at 8: 15. p.m.
