And why shouldn’t it?

The month of July will be upon us tomorrow, and that means we’ve only got about three weeks before the long, dark tea time of the offseason comes to an end and the Minnesota Vikings officially report to Training Camp. If you’ve got the opportunity to catch anything on the NFL Network tomorrow, their programming is going to center around the best receiver in the game today.

Yes, according to the NFL’s official account on Twitter/X/whatever we’re calling it today, their programming for Tuesday, 1 July, will be “Player’s Choice” featuring Justin Jefferson. As you’d expect, there are a lot of Vikings games to be had, so let’s take a look at the full slate for Tuesday. All times listed are Central time.

  • 10:00 AM - Justin Jefferson: A Football Life Origins
  • 10:30 AM - Tennessee Titans at Minnesota Vikings, 2020 NFL Week 3 (Jefferson’s breakout game)
  • 1:00 PM - Minnesota Vikings at Dallas Cowboys, 1998 Week 13 (Randy Moss’ 3/163/3 Thanksgiving game)
  • 4:00 PM - Sound FX: Randy Moss
  • 4:30 PM - New Orleans Saints vs Indianapolis Colts, Super Bowl XLIV (WHAT THE HELL, JUSTIN?!)
  • 5:00 PM - Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants, 2014 NFL Week 12 (Why? I don’t know.)
  • 6:00 PM - Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills, 2022 NFL Week 10 (Wild win in Buffalo)
  • 9:00 PM - Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings, 2021 NFL Week 11 (Last-minute Vikings win)
  • 11:30 PM - Justin Jefferson: A Football Life Origins
  • 12:00 AM - Going Global: Justin Jefferson
  • 12:30 AM - That same freaking Saints/Colts Super Bowl from earlier, only longer, apparently
  • 3:00 AM - Davante Adams: A Football Life Origins
  • 3:30 AM - SoundFX: Cris Carter
  • 4:00 AM - NFL 100 All-Time Team: Wide Receivers

All in all, it looks like a pretty solid day of football viewing on the NFL’s official channel. If there are things you’re wanting to get on your DVR or if you have the day off work and just want to veg out in front of the TV, it should help to get you through the next few weeks. It’s a start, at the very least.
