Who is the biggest unsung hero in Kansas City history? Let’s hear what you think!
For our Tuesday Takes, let’s consider the greatest unsung heroes in Kansas City Chiefs’ history — players (or coaches or executives) who made big differences, but received relatively little credit.
For me, I’d have to consider punter Dustin Colquitt, who recently re-joined the team to retire as a Chief. We don’t normally consider punters to be heroes — after all, they tend to come on the field only when the offense has failed to maintain a drive — but over his 15 years in Kansas City, Colquitt was a remarkably consistent player who always did his job very well.
How about you? Who is your greatest unsung Chiefs hero?
