There’s a lot going on in Green Bay right now.
Tucker Kraft’s knee is shot, leaving the offense without its most effective player. Nate Hobbs is hurt, leaving the secondary perilously thin (even if Hobbs wasn’t playing particularly well). The offense seems scattershot. The defense can’t stop the run. And on top of all of that, the defending Super Bowl champs (admittedly in a weird season of their own) are coming to Lambeau Field on Monday.
Oh, and the trade deadline is today, too. Mark your calendars.
I remain convinced this is still a good team, but good wasn’t what we were hoping for this year. This was supposed to be a dominant team. This was supposed to be a Super Bowl contender.
They still can be, but they have a lot of issues to fix. And time is running out for the Packers to fix them.
