Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa pulled off a hilarious impersonation of Donald Trump and offered a surprise admission on being named to the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition.

Last week, Trump signed an executive order to expand the president’s council. Trump named Tua Tagovailoa, Saquon Barkley, Nick Bosa and Harrison Butker as members of the council, along with other big-named athletes like LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau and Hockey Hall of Famer Bryson DeChambeau.

Barkley, however, stated that he did not join the council and was “shocked” to hear Trump mention his name. Well, Miami’s star quarterback offered another bizarre take on being named to the council.

Per David Furones of the Sun Sentinel, Tagovailoa told reporters it was “an honor” to be part of the council. Tagovailoa also admitted that he didn’t know much about it and is unsure how and why he was added to the council.

He offered an epic impersonation of the president along the way, too.

“It’s an honor, I’d say I don’t know too much about it,” Tua Tagovailoa said.

When a reporter asked him how it developed, Tagovailoa said, “I should ask you that question too, bro. I’m not too sure.”

It appears that Tagovailoa tried to avoid revealing his true feelings about the controversial president. On one hand, it’s an honor. On the other hand, he’s not sure why he was named to the council.
