Tyreek Hill is headed into his fourth season catching passes from Tua Tagovailoa on the Miami Dolphins. He’s compiled 4,468 receiving yards in that time span, which is only 2,162 yards fewer than he gained with the Kansas City Chiefs across six seasons.
Needless to say, even without the Super Bowl rings, Hill’s time in South Beach has been outwardly productive. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement, especially when it comes to a team chemistry perspective with his QB.
It likely doesn’t help that Hill essentially demanded a trade at the end of last season, a request that the Dolphins ignored. Now, as Dolphins training camp kicks off, Tagovailoa let the media know that he and the team haven’t forgotten about Hill’s desire to play for a new team.
As they say, winning cures all, and the Dolphins couldn’t get in the victory column enough to secure a playoff spot last season. If they can start hot and maintain a good pace, all of this could quickly be forgotten.
However, if the Dolphins get off to a rocky start, it’s not hard to imagine Hill actually hitting the trade block this time around.
