There’s been a lot of speculation, especially online, where rumors spread far and wide, about how Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs suffered a concussion away from the football field this season.

Injuries kept the All-Pro cornerback out of the Cowboys’ lineup from Week 7 through Week 15 before returning for this past Sunday’s matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. However, Diggs was also dealing with a separate knee injury, which surely complicated his recovery time.

Still, fans want to know, just how did Diggs suffer this mysterious concussion? It wasn’t anything nefarious; it all seemed to be a simple non-car-related accident.

According to Jane Slater of NFL Network, Diggs’ concussion was the result of a TV pole mount falling on his head during the installation process at his home in Texas.

“Some of you wanted to know how Trevon Diggs got concussed. It was never that crazy but the lack of answers made it sound like it was. With his permission, he shared and here’s the video of it. He says a tv he was trying to install from the ceiling with the pole mount fell on his head. ‘I was trying to be a handyman.’ “He didn’t think it was a big deal and didn’t need to be addressed, but speculation on the internet went way too far.”

Well, that should put to bed all the other rumors of how Diggs suffered his injury.
