Immigration agents will be at the Super Bowl in California for Bad Bunny’s performance. Last week, the NFL, Roc Nation, and Apple Music announced the Puerto Rican star would headline the Super Bowl halftime show.
Bunny’s selection for the Super Bowl halftime show has been controversial, considering he’s spoken out against President Trump and endorsed Kamala Harris during the election.
“I will never forget what Donald Trump did and what he did not do when Puerto Rico needed a caring and a competent leader,” said the Puerto Rican star.
On Wednesday, Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski blasted the NFL for choosing Bad Bunny to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show and vowed to have ICE agents in attendance at the Super Bowl in Santa Clara.
“There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find you and apprehend you and put you in a detention facility and deport you. Know that is a very real situation under this administration, which is contrary to how it used to be,” says Corey Lewandowski.
“It’s so shameful they’ve decided to pick somebody who seems to hate America so much to represent them at the Halftime Show… If there are illegal aliens, I don’t care if it’s a concert for Johnny Smith or Bad Bunny or anybody else. We’re going to do enforcement everywhere. We are going to make Americans safe. That is a directive from the president. If you’re in this country illegally, go home.”

NFL exec Jon Barker explained the league’s decision to select Bad Bunny as the Super Bowl halftime show performer.
