Revenge of the Birds
For the Arizona Cardinals there is one thing that is unquestionable, Trey McBride is a great player.
While some may debate his overall ranking among his peers at the position, he’s one of the best tight ends in the NFL.
So, when the Madden 27 rankings started to leak, it was great to see that McBride is part of the 99 club.
Now, maybe the leaks are fake, this is the internet, and the reality is the rankings on Madden are hit and miss, but for McBride to be among a handful of players that were designated with the ranking, it is a great recognition of his talent and where he has taken his game.
What is even more interesting is that of the “99 Club” players, there are four in the NFC West and two on the Los Angeles Rams.
We will see if McBride maintains that ranking throughout the season, to be fair I will be unlikely to check back on this, but for those who still enjoy the game and to see a Cardinals player looked at so positively is a nice change of pace.
