Trevon Diggs’ first playoff game as a member of the Green Bay Packers’ playoff debut lasted a single snap.
On Dec. 30, the Dallas Cowboys stunned the NFL world by waiving Trevon Diggs. One day later, he was picked up by the playoff-bound Green Bay Packers. But just when you thought he might make the most of a fresh start, Diggs hardly saw the field in his two games with his new team.
Diggs saw 33 snaps in the Packers’ regular-season finale against the Minnesota Vikings. In Saturday’s heartbreaking playoff loss to the Chicago Bears? Just one snap, and this is how it went:
YIKES: New #Packers cornerback Trevon Diggs played just one snap against the #Bears last night in the playoffs.
Diggs on his one play… back-pedaled 10 yards… fell backwards, and the offensive player landed on him.
Trevon has had a historic falloff.

Yeah, that’s why the Packers only wanted Diggs to play one snap.
The Packers took a 21-3 lead into the locker room on Saturday. They were outscored 28-6 in the second half, with Jordan Love’s last-second Hail Mary falling incomplete.
According to Pro Football Reference, Diggs allowed a 154.2 passer rating and a 75.0 completion percentage when targeted during the regular season (nine games played). Both were career worsts.
Diggs’ career got off to a promising start, with Pro Bowl selections in 2021 and 2022. He led the league in interceptions during the former with 11, helping Dallas to a 12-win season and its first NFC East division crown since 2018.
But Diggs’ career has been on the downhill ever since, and it’s obvious that he once again requires a change of scenery. Perhaps a well-coached team like the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, or Houston Texans will roll the dice on him.
