Travis Kelce somberly reflects on Chiefs Super Bowl loss with Jason Kelce
For The Win For The Win

It was undeniably a tough Super Bowl for Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce. The three-time Super Bowl winner didn’t have his best day with just four receptions for 39 yards as the Chiefs got dominated by the Philadelphia Eagles, 40-22.

The future Hall of Fame tight end did set a record in the blowout loss, passing Randy Moss for most Super Bowl receptions (35 total). But for Kelce — who talked through his emotions on this week’s episode of his New Heights podcast with big brother, Jason — none of that matters right now.

“I wasn’t the best leader that I could be in motivating my guys and keeping my guys calm, cool, collected,” Kelce said. “I love me teammates, my coaches, Chiefs Kingdom… I’m sorry for how it ended.”

“I have a beautiful life, I have loved ones, I have the most amazing family in the world that supports me in everything I do.”

After a few days to process it, Travis reflected on Super Bowl LIX
