The Travis Kelce retirement talk is going to be some of the focus at the end of Super Bowl week — we’re talking about a player who will be 36 years old this fall and who had an OK year stats-wise.
But when asked on Super Bowl Opening Night what he’ll be doing in three years, he had something intriguing to say: “Hopefully still playing football. I love doing this, I love coming in to work every day. I feel like I still got a lot of good football in me.”
He went on to talk about all the other stuff he’s been doing off the field, but he plans on being a Chief by then.
Now: you could say that’s what he HAS to say right now. But that doesn’t sound like someone who’s retiring on Monday if the Chiefs win again.
"Where will I be in 3 years? Hopefully still playing football… I plan on being a Kansas City Chief and playing football."
