Travis and Jason Kelce have just added a new chapter to their already remarkable football journey- this time from the owner’s box. The NFL brothers, known for their dominance on the field and charisma off it, are now the proud owners of a professional football team in Missouri.

On Thursday, the Kelces announced their latest venture through Garage Beer, the Ohio-based brand they co-own. The beer company revealed they’ve taken over the St Joseph Goats, a professional indoor football team that plays in The Arena League.

The Goats are based in St. Joseph, Missouri, and already had an NFL connection in Christian Okoye, the former Kansas City Chiefs star from the ’80s and ’90s who remains a co-owner.

“This is more than a sponsorship,” Garage Beer said in a statement. “It’s a bold, possibly confusing leap into the world of professional sports ownership, and we couldn’t be more excited.” The move signals a unique twist in the Kelce brothers’ playbook, blending their love of the sport with their growing business empire.

The St Joseph Goats are the latest addition to a string of investments by Travis, who at 35 is still playing for the Kansas City Chiefs. Earlier this year, he hinted at retirement following the team’s Super Bowl loss to the Eagles, where he faced off against his brother Jason. But he’s staying on the field, while also expanding his off-field ventures. Last year, he joined a $211 million investment group backing Alpine Formula One, alongside names like Patrick Mahomes, Rory McIlroy, and Anthony Joshua.

Jason, who retired after the 2023 season, has taken a different path. He’s now working as an NFL analyst for ESPN and recently launched his own late-night chat show. But the brothers remain close as ever, co-hosting the popular “New Heights” podcast and now sharing a front-row seat in sports ownership.

Earlier this week, Garage Beer teased the announcement, saying it was in “very advanced stages” of acquiring a major stake in a football team. With this deal now official, the Kelce brothers aren’t just rewriting playbooks- hey’re writing their next chapter as owners.

From cold beers to indoor gridirons, the Kelces continue to bring energy, humor, and a clear love for the game to everything they touch.
