Travis Hunter’s 2025 season has been over for some time. He is still having the time of his life.

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ first-year superstar had a knee injury that required surgery. He underwent LCL surgery, which meant his year was done.

On Sunday, the Jaguars played their biggest game of the year against the Broncos. Not many people had them going on the road and dominating. That is exactly what happened as they walked out with a 34-20 victory.

There were some controversial calls during the game that upset Broncos fans. Travis Hunter was certainly not unhappy about it. Footage from the stands showed him celebrating a lot. He even taunted the fans as they complained about the refs.

The Jaguars Have Been Winning Without Travis Hunter

Travis Hunter last played in October in a game against the Rams. Hunter would finish the game as the Jaguars’ leading wide receiver across the board. He hauled in eight of his 14 receptions with a long of 34 yards. Hunter also had his first career 100-yard performance, totaling 101 yards through the air.

The Jaguars got blown out in that contest. They have played eight games without him on the field so far. Many expected the team to fall off a cliff. They did the opposite. If not for a blown fourth-quarter lead to the Texans, the Jags would be sitting pretty right now.

Jacksonville has only lost one game since Travis Hunter went down with his injury. They are on the cusp of winning the AFC South. The Jacksonville Jaguars last won the AFC South title in the 2022 season. That was the same year they last won a playoff game.

One more victory against the Colts, and the team will clinch it.

Hunter sustained his injury during practice ahead of Week 9, tearing his LCL without any contact. A healthy Travis Hunter makes the Jaguars a Super Bowl-contending team for years to come. He finished the year with 28 receptions for 298 yards and a touchdown in seven games. Hunter played in 36% of the team’s defensive snaps when healthy.
