Travis Hunter has been a hot topic for being an elite two-way football player and for seemingly being in a toxic relationship.

As Hunter prepares to launch his professional football career with the Jacksonville Jaguars, he’s also stepping into a new chapter of his personal life.

The No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft has already gotten a ring after marrying longtime partner, Leanna Lenee, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

While most rookie contracts include legal counsel and clauses to protect newly minted millionaires, Hunter has reportedly made a startling decision regarding a prenuptial agreement.

According to former NFL star Channing Crowder, Hunter did not have his wife sign a prenuptial agreement. Hunter’s rookie contract is worth close to $50 million over four years.

“Information I’ve gained and the pictures I’ve seen, and I respect Travis all too much, when you say that you’re about to say something mean about somebody. I heard there was no prenup, I don’t like that, this man’s about to be an MVP type candidate,” Crowder said on the Pivot Podcast.

“I think he’ll be an All-Pro Corner, I think he’ll be a very good Receiver. We’ve heard the stories of the past, how when they were getting together how, she called the man ugly. I don’t like all that. I don’t like it, I don’t like those stories. I don’t like those things coming out about a young man I respect.”

Just weeks after the draft, Travis Hunter’s decision to marry now has sparked curiosity and criticism.

“I’m going to marry her once my NFL career starts,” he declared last year.

He has not allowed the controversy surrounding his girl to sway him away from his relationship and commitment.

Cam’ron and Mase React to Travis Hunter’s Marriage

Travis Hunter’s decision to skip out on a prenuptial agreement has many people, including former rappers, scratching their heads.

Cam’ron and Mase aren’t keen on congratulating the newlyweds.

Just days after the 2024 Heisman Trophy recipient married Lenee, Cam, and Mase shared their disappointment on their popular podcast.

“Imma sit this one out,” Mase began.

“I think when it comes to the young lady, she does have like different things that have transpired. For me as a dad, if that was my son, I would definitely be concerned.”

Cam advised that there are other ways for Hunter to “protect his assets,” as the couple allegedly did not sign a prenuptial agreement.

“They’ll try to hit you with that shit, ‘Why get a prenup if you really love me?'” Cam added.

“…Do what you want, Travis, that’s up to you. I’m signing a prenup unless shorty getting as much money as I get or more than me. If you’re not getting more than me, you have to sign a prenup. It just works like that for me.”
