The event featured good food and fun with the newest Saints rookies.
On Wednesday, May 21, the Touchdown Club of New Orleans hosted their 51st annual “Rookie Super Boil” with the 2025 New Orleans Saints rookies. The event was be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Cannery in New Orleans. All nine Saints draft picks were in attendance which included Tyler Shough, Kelvin Banks Jr., Devin Neal, Vernon Broughton, Danny Stutsman, Jones Sanker, Moliki Matavao, Quincy Riley and Fadil Diggs as well as their 12 UDFA’s.
WWL Sports Director Doug Mouton served as the emcee of the event, which approximately 300 people attended and over 1400 pounds of crawfish were served with all the fixings. There was also a live auction, prizes, photo booth and the opportunity to meet the newest Saints rookies and some Saints super fans too.
Established in 1967, the TDCNO is a registered non-profit organization. Through the years, profits from their various events have been able to benefit several local area charities.
This year’s event allowed the club to be able to donate $7,500 to Team Gleason, the Ray Hester Memorial fund as well as local rescue group Trap Dat Cat.
