Silver And Black Pride
It’s all about the future for the Las Vegas Raiders.
This is going to be a total rebuild and many young players are going to get a chance to compete for serious playing time in 2026.
By the way he ended his rookie season, Raiders fourth-round draft pick, defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway will be one of those players.
The South Carolina product had two sacks on Sunday in the season finale, at home against the Kansas City Chiefs. He finished with four sacks on the season in just nine games. It was the third most sacks by a Raiders’ rookie interior defensive lineman behind Bill Pickel (six) and Lamarr Houston (five).
His four sacks is the most by a Raiders’ rookie since defensive end Maxx Crosby had 10 in 2019.
So, Hemingway has a chance of being a foundational piece moving forward.
