The New England Patriots are having one of the best seasons in the NFL this year. For one of their old friends, Tom Brady, the 2025 campaign has been a nightmare for his new squad, the Las Vegas Raiders, and his frustrations appear to be boiling over.

Brady is most well-known for his legendary career in the NFL as a player, but after he retired, he ended up becoming a minority owner of the Raiders. While he isn’t directly involved in the front office, it’s become common knowledge that his influence within the building is quite large.

One decision Brady played a big role in was the hiring of Chip Kelly as the team’s offensive coordinator. However, the team’s offense was so bad that Kelly got fired after the team’s Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns. With Las Vegas struggling, reports have emerged indicating that Brady is not happy with the team’s overall performance through 11 games.

“I’m told minority owner Tom Brady was a big advocate of bringing in Kelly to run the offense, and he has shared with some people close to him his disappointment in the team’s overall performance. His frustrations go beyond the offense, too,” Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported.

The Raiders entered the year with some pretty glaring holes, and they have only been exacerbated to this point. A full-scale rebuild is likely going to be necessary soon, and it will be interesting to see what sort of role Brady plays in that.

As for the Patriots, life is good, as their 10-2 record is the best mark in the record. The team will look to earn its 10th straight win when it squares off against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football in Week 13.
