Tom Brady clearly avoided talking about the viral New Year’s Eve videos that showed him getting close to social media star Alix Earle. Instead, he said his main focus right now is work and his kids.
Brady spoke at the Fanatics Studios launch event at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. When reporters asked about his personal life and the rumors around Earle, he stayed on message and did not mention the yacht party in St. Barths.
“You know what? I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself, but I love working and I love my kids,” Brady told People. He said he stays busy by choice and finds meaning in his current projects.
The comments came weeks after videos of Brady and Earle looking flirty at a New Year’s Eve yacht party got viral. So far, neither Brady nor Earle has commented directly on the videos.
Brady said his work keeps him fulfilled. He also said his kids bring him the most joy. “I like to be busy and try to really stay fulfilled in the things I’m doing,” Brady said. “So I’m working on some really cool projects and I’m involved with some great teams of people that are doing some really positive things.”
Brady has three children, his oldest son, Jack, 18, with former partner Bridget Moynihan. He also has two younger children, Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, with his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen.
“I’m so blessed in so many parts of my life,” he mentioned.
Earle shifted the attention to herself after the trip. She posted bikini photos from St. Barths and added a cryptic caption. “Rumor has it we’re still dancing,” she wrote on Instagram. Moreover, she also mentioned new friends and new beginnings.
Brady posted his own message as the video spread. He shared a quote on Instagram that read, “People are not beautiful for how they look or speak. They’re beautiful for how they love, care and treat others.” He later posted a photo of his pool back at his Florida home with the caption “Home Sweet Home.”
TMZ shared videos that showed Alix Earle dancing closely with Tom Brady. In one clip, she leaned in to whisper in his ear and touched his back. Another video showed Brady with his hand on her waist. Page Six later reported that the two spent some time talking privately away from the group.
Earle recently confirmed that she and Texans receiver Braxton Berrios broke up in December. She described Berrios as her best friend and said distance played a big role in the split.
For now, Brady seems fully unbothered by the rumors. He continues to focus on work and himself.
