Tom Brady made an appearance at the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday. He was not well received.
On Sunday, Brady appeared at the Indianapolis 500 during a pre-race ceremony to greet attendees when he was met with a wave of boos from the crowd.
But the retired athlete seemed not to bat an eyelid at the disdain, simply waving and smiling at the crowd in response.
Brady played in the NFL for years, so he is used to being booed by opposing fans. After retiring from the NFL in 2023, Tom Brady signed a 10-year contract with Fox Sports to serve as a sports commentator for the network.
There has been a years-long strife between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots, particularly with Brady bringing them a ton of heartbreak.
In 2014, the Colts and Patriots had an intense back-and-forth after they faced off in the AFC Championship Game. The matchup was soiled by the infamous “Deflategate” scandal, in which Brady was accused of breaking NFL rules by using underinflated footballs to gain an unfair advantage.
Brady, who won six Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots, offered a blunt message to those Colts fans who booed him.
“P.S. It was nice to get one more successful drive in front of a bunch of Colts fans,” he joked on his Instagram story.

Brady may be long retired from the NFL, but he’s never been far from the sport.
Tom Brady is reportedly considering a return to football to compete in the 2028 Olympic Games.
Now, as flag football makes its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games, the greatest quarterback of all time is reportedly considering one last run.
An insider told Daily Mail: “He wants a Gold medal. And what better way to remain the GOAT and return to the sport he loves, by helping his country win gold.”
