Gang Green Nation
Thursday Night Football, Week 12. Tonight the Houston Texans host the Buffalo Bills.
The 7-3 Buffalo Bills currently sit in 2nd place in the AFC East, a game and a half behind the surprising New England Patriots. The Bills, led by star quarterback Josh Allen, have a great offense, ranking 1st in the NFL in rushing yards, 2nd in total yards, and 4th in points scored. They have scored 30+ points in six of their ten games this season. The Bills have won three of their last four games, including wins over the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The main Bills weakness has been in defending against the run, where they rank an abysmal 31st in the NFL.
The 5-5 Houston Texans have won three of their last four games. They currently sit in 3rd place in the AFC South, three games behind the division leading Indianapolis Colts. The Texans lost starting quarterback C.J. Stroud to injury a few games back, but they have somewhat surprisingly gone 2-0 in games started by his backup, Davis Mills. Unlike the Bills, the strength of the Texans lies in their defense. The Texans rank #1 in the NFL in yards allowed and points allowed. They have held seven of their ten opponents to 18 points or less. Unfortunately for the Texans, their offense has left much to be desired, failing to score 20 points in six of their ten games.
The Bills have struggled a bit on the road, going 2-2 in four road games. The Texans are 3-2 at home.
It’s the Texans and the Bills tonight on Thursday Night Football. Enjoy the game everybody.
