Thursday Night Football, Week 8. Tonight the Los Angeles Chargers host the Minnesota Vikings.
The 3-3 Minnesota Vikings have alternated wins and losses this season, never winning or losing more than one game in a row. They are coming off a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week.
The 4-3 Los Angeles Chargers got off to a hot start this season, winning their first three games and taking over first place in the AFC West division. Since then the Chargers have plummeted, losing three of their last four games while giving up 27+ points on defense each of their last three games. The reversal of fortune caused the Chargers to drop into a tie for second place in the AFC West with the surging Kansas City Chiefs. Last week the Chargers lost to the Indianapolis Colts by two touchdowns.
The Vikings have gotten the better of this matchup in recent years, winning three of the last four games between these two teams.
