Can the first round WR finally make an impact?
Melo mentioned that both L’Jarius Sneed and Lloyd Cushenberry will start Tennessee Titans training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform List (PUP). It has also been reported that Treylon Burks, who missed most of last season with a torn ACL, will be ready to go when training camp starts this week. It is hard to expect much from Burks at this point, but there is no shot he can make an impact if he isn’t healthy.
It’s been a tough road for Burks. He has never played in more than 11 games in a season and has just 53 catches for 699 yards and one touchdown in his three seasons in the league.
The Titans declined Burks’s fifth-year option earlier this offseason. That makes this a contract year for him. There are some skills there. He just hasn’t been able to stay healthy long enough to put it all together to this point. Hopefully, for him and the Titans, that can change this season.
The Titans spent the 18th pick of the 2022 NFL Draft on Burks.
