Mike McCoy said today that Jeffery Simmons will be week to week with the hamstring injury he suffered in the loss Sunday against the New England Patriots. It’s a tough break for Simmons, who had been playing the best football of his career. McCoy didn’t say exactly how long Simmons will be out, but “week to week” usually means at least a couple of games.
McCoy also said that L’Jarius Sneed will miss some time with the quad injury he suffered on Sunday. Sneed missed a couple of months last season with a quad injury. The Sneed trade will go down as one of the worst moves in the history of this franchise. Sneed won’t be here next season. There’s an outside chance we’ve seen the last of him in a Titans uniform.
The Titans are back on the practice field today, so we will get an update on Calvin Ridley at some point this afternoon. He didn’t practice at all last week. I’d be surprised if we see him this week.
