The Tennessee Titans wrap up their preseason tonight against the Minnesota Vikings. Cam Ward and most of the starters are expected to play. They have played 2-3 series in the first 2 games. My guess is that we will see something similar tonight, but I have not seen that confirmed anywhere as of this writing. Ward has been pretty good in the preseason. Hopefully, that will continue tonight.
This is the last chance for a lot of the guys who have been in camp with the Titans to make their case to be a part of the week 1 53-man roster. All NFL teams have to have their roster down to 53 players by 3 PM Central on Tuesday, August 26th. Most teams will probably start to make cuts over the weekend.
The Titans hold the first waiver claim, so they will probably make quite a few claims starting Tuesday afternoon. They can start to add guys back to their practice squad once they have cleared waivers on Wednesday, August 27th.
You will also see a few trades in the coming days. The only trade I could see the Titans making is for an upgrade at backup quarterback, but that is probably unlikely.
