The Tennessee Titans are fresh off their bye week, set to take on the Houston Texans. The last time these two teams met, the Titans’ offense was unable to get into the red zone. A lot has changed since that game, with Brian Callahan being fired. The Texans will also be missing CJ Stroud in this one, who is missing his second straight game with a concussion.
It will be interesting to see if the Titans made any big adjustments during the bye week. There is only so much they can do with their limited personnel. I’d love to see them come up and run some tempo early in this game. Cam Ward looks so much more comfortable when the offense is going quickly. Why not give that a shot here?
On defense, they get a boost with Jeffery Simmons returning to the field. He has been a game-wrecker when on the field this season. He and T’Vondre Sweat will need to be a force in the middle to make up for what they are lacking in the backend of the defense.
What does the second half of the season hold for the Titans? We get the beginning of that answer today.
