This is a winnable game for the Tennessee Titans. It doesn’t feel like there are going to be that many times that can be said this year. The Titans need to take advantage.
For the Titans to win, they are going to need Cam Ward and Calvin Ridley to pick up where they left off in the fourth quarter comeback against the Arizona Cardinals last week. I’d love to see the Titans do some things early in the game to get Ridley going.
The key to stopping the Las Vegas Raiders is keeping rookie running back Ashton Jeanty in check. That starts with up front with Jeffery Simmons, who has been playing out of his mind so far this season. Brian Callahan said after Sunday’s win that Simmons is playing at a Defensive Player of the Year level. They need him to keep that up today.
The Titans haven’t won back-to-back games since November of 2022. They can change that with a win today.
