Music City Miracles
The Tennessee Titans were on the practice field for the first time under Mike McCoy today. McCoy got a nice, soft landing spot for his first contest – the New England Patriots, with Mike Vrabel out for revenge. It’s hard to see a way where this one doesn’t go sideways quickly, but hey, that’s why they play the games, right?
The Titans have a pretty long injury report today:
The usual “it’s only Wednesday” caveat applies here, but I’d be surprised if we see Calvin Ridley in this one. He left the game in the first quarter last week and didn’t practice today.
It is good to see that JC Latham is not on the injury report after returning from a hip injury last week. He didn’t play particularly well, but hopefully that’s just because he was rusty after not playing for a month.
Joey Slye, who missed last week’s game, was listed as a limited participant today. That probably means he has a chance to be back Sunday. If he is, we will see if the injury was really the reason he was so bad against the Arizona Cardinals.
