Calvin Ridley has been ruled out for the Tennessee Titans game this Sunday against the New England Patriots. That isn’t really a surprise considering he injured his hamstring in the first quarter last week and didn’t practice all week. The Titans will also be without wide receiver Bryce Oliver. Is this the thing that gets Xavier Restrepo on the field? Who knows, but if he does play and has a good game, I’m going to have to be off Twitter for a few days.
Let me be clear, if they do call up Restrepo, I hope he is the second coming of Jerry Rice because that would be great for the Titans. It just seems more likely that after every team passed on him in the draft, and he couldn’t make the active roster here, there is probably a reason.
Also OUT for the Titans are Arden Key and Blake Hance. The Titans are down at least Key and Femi Oladejo from the EDGE group. Dre’Mont Jones has also missed time at practice this week, and will presumably be questionable when the full injury report comes out. Getting pressure on Drake Maye is going to be a problem this week.
I will update with the full injury report when it is released.
