The Tennessee Titans head out to San Francisco (well, technically Santa Clara) to take on the 49ers today. On paper, the Titans don’t have much of a chance in this one. The 49ers are a 12.5-point favorite and are the much better team. But, as Kenny Mayne used to say, games aren’t played on paper; they are played inside TV sets. Even with that being said, the Titans still don’t have much of a chance here.
This week, I asked if you are rooting for wins or draft position down the stretch:
Pretty definitive answer there with 71% saying they would rather the Titans lose down the stretch than win and drop further in the 2026 NFL Draft order.
On Friday, I posted a rooting guide for us today when it comes to draft order. There is a scenario where a win today could drop the Titans all the way down to 8th in the draft. The good news for the 71% who want to see losses is that the Titans will probably lose today.
