The Tennessee Titans have signed wide receiver Mason Kinsey to the 53-man roster. This will come to the chagrin of many fans who are just dying to see Xavier Restrepo out there. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, however, after Kinsey was elevated from the practice squad for last week’s game against the New England Patriots.
Kinsey has bounced back and forth between the practice squad and the active roster since he was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Before Restrepo was signed here, Kinsey was the receiver that Titans’ fans unrealistically clamored for. Be careful what you wish for.
The Titans are going to be heavily in the receiver market this offseason. The rookies, Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike, have been solid so far this year, but they need a number one out there that other teams have to gameplan for.
Kinsey has caught four passes for 26 yards across in his career with the Titans.
