An interesting tidbit from Titans head coach Brian Callahan
The 2025 NFL Combine is up and running. Both Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan and general manager Mike Borgonzi spoke to the media this morning in Indianapolis. One interesting thing that Callahan said is that the Titans are open to moving 2024 first round pick JC Latham to right tackle in the right scenario. Latham played right tackle at Alabama.
The right scenario would be where the Titans find a guy either in the 2025 NFL Draft or free agency, most likely the draft, that is better suited to play left tackle. Having position flexibility like that gives the Titans more options to pick from when they are on the clock in April. This also serves as a reminder about how many big needs the Titans have in this draft - including quarterback, EDGE, and at least one offensive lineman. It’s the biggest reason they are looking to move down in the first round.
It is good to hear that they are determined to get the best five players on the field on the offensive line. That group has been a struggle for this team for far too long. Bill Callahan was brought in to fix it, and all last year proved was that he cannot work miracles. However, there is no doubt he is an excellent offensive line coach. That group will be good when they have five serviceable players.
