Forget draft position. Watching the Tennessee Titans whoop up on the Kansas City Chiefs at Nissan Stadium was really fun. I don’t even care that the guy who played quarterback for the Chiefs most of the day had never thrown a pass in an NFL game before today.

Cam Ward is getting better each and every week. That is all this season was ever about anyway. He finished the day 21 of 28 for 228 yards and two touchdowns. I’m not saying that I am sold on Ward being a franchise quarterback, but it is definitely trending in the right direction.

Tyjae Spears had a really productive day, rushing for 52 yards with a touchdown and catching five passes for 53 yards. The Titans are going to have an interesting decision to make on Spears at the end of the year. He is going to be a free agent. Spears isn’t an every-down back, but he has a skillset that is valuable in the NFL.

The rookie receivers also played well today. Elic Ayomanor caught three passes for 58 yards. Chimere Dike caught three passes for 40 yards and a touchdown. Ayomanor and Dike aren’t number one receivers, but they give the Titans depth at the position they haven’t had in a really long time.

We will check in on where the win leaves the Titans in terms of 2026 NFL Draft order later tonight. Some teams that they needed to win in the early window are in a good position as of this writing.
