[UPDATE #2] – Ward has been ruled OUT. His rookie season is over.
[UPDATE #1] – It is Ward’s right shoulder that was injured.
Well, it’s a miracle that we made it this far without Cam Ward getting hurt due to how many sacks he has taken. That streak ended today. Ward scored a 7-yard rushing touchdown but took a big hit at the end of the run. He went into the blue medical tent after the play and to the locker room shortly after that.

Brandon Allen is the Tennessee Titans’ backup quarterback. He has not taken a snap to this point in the season. In fact, Ward had been the only QB in the league to take every snap for his team this season.
The Titans are currently tied at 7 with the Jacksonville Jaguars. A Jaguars win today would make them the AFC South Champions and give them a home game in the playoffs.
Ian Rapoport reported that it is a shoulder injury that sent Ward to the locker room. He did not specify which shoulder was injured.
